A full service:

  • Provision of, consultation about, and reasonable changes to, job description and candidate specification.  

  • An advertising service - advertising the vacancy on relevant (as determined by ourselves) Internet recruitment sites.

  • A "search" service  - access to CV database searches & customised research.

  • Telephone screening (based on the agreed job description and candidate specification) of potentially relevant applicants, with records kept.

  • Regular updates to Client concerning numbers of applicants.

  • Rejection of unsuitable applicants, or those failing to pass telephone-screening criteria.

  • Face-to-face interviewing of applicants who, in our reasonable opinion, meet the Client agreed specification and have satisfied the requirements of telephone screening. 

  • Briefing of interviewees, including provision of Client materials. We will provide if needed candidate briefing materials for Client approval.

  • Provision to the Client of a recommended shortlist, with appropriate summary report explaining how they might meet the Client criteria.

  • Shortlist candidates to have completed psychometric assessment ("personality" - working styles) and results to be included in summary reports.

  • Interview arrangements.

  • Attendance at interviews or other assessment processes if required.

  • If requested, recommendations as to Client selection process.

  • If requested, recommendations concerning contract terms.

  • If requested, and following an offer being made by the Client to an applicant, obtaining employment references.

  • Pre-employment background checking and criminal records checking (where mandatory requirement). 

  • Maintaining appropriate records to protect against possible discrimination claims.

Clients might also be interested in:

  • Design and management of client careers site.  A well-designed and up-to-date careers site is a major asset in reinforcing candidates’ interest.

  • Interview and selection training - either skills, "recruiting within the law" or both.
